Mountain Tennis was established twenty years ago to bring great tennis friends together from across NH. Concord, Conway, Tamworth and Sandwich players started the battle in hopes of taking home “Da Rock”, a scrap slab of Swenson Granite representing the grit of our intrepid athletes. Dana took Da Rock home in 2003 and was the inspiration for this event from its inception.
Dana had many passions and achievements in his life, but tennis defined him in so many ways. He grew youth tennis in many forms leading camps, clinics, and private lessons as Mt. Cranmore Pro or Tamworth tennis guy.
Players compete through the afternoon on multiple clay courts in a doubles scramble counting individual game wins.
2022 marks the first year that we will hold a women’s division.
This year will be the FIFTH year as an Advantage Kids fundraiser, requesting a donation to Advantage Kids, developing youth tennis and education in NH.
